New at large positions on the Bryant Board of Education will be filled when area residents[more] take to the polls today.
The expansion of the five-member Board was announced in March of 2012. The change is a result of the growth of the District's minority population, which now exceeds 10 percent. Along with the five zone members, two at large spots were created.
Current zone board member Scott A. Hart is in the running for one of the new at large positions. He’s opposed by Rose Seawright.
The At Large Position B candidates are Michael Daly, Daniel Bone and Scott Smith.
