The Bryant Hornets B team collected wins on both ends of a doubleheader on Saturday at Bryant High School Field. Against the Catholic Rockets of Little Rock, the Hornets won 10-2 and 4-1.
In the first game, Logan Grant pitched six innings and contributed two hits. Matthew Sandidge went 2 for 4 with a double.
In game two, Myers Buck started and got the win with Will McEntire earning a save in relief.
At the plate, Grant, Jeffrey Hastings and Diego Vargas each had hits. Grant also walked and scored twice. Hastings’ hit was a double.
The B team is scheduled to host Sheridan for a doubleheader today.
