The Junior Lady Hornets were led by eight-grader Mary Catherine Selig who finished 32nd in a time of 21:53. Freshman Lauren Hart took 45th place in a time of 22:12.

Other Bryant finishers were Bailey Brazil (82nd, 23:02), Alyssa Rowland (123rd, 23:53), Olivia Orr (138th, 24:12), Camryn Bolton (145th, 24:15), Mika Johnson (165th, 24:35), Carissa Colclasure (170th, 24:38), Flora Noble (180th, 24:53), Kaylin Watts (222nd, 25:45), and Kristin Garner (340th, 28:45).

“I was proud of our junior girls,” said Bryant coach Danny Westbrook. “I think they were a little nervous having to run the extra mile over their normal race distance, but they handled it very well. I thought Mary Catherine Selig and Lauren Hart both had outstanding races.”

The annual Bryant Invitational meet will be held next Saturday, Oct. 11, at Bishop Park.
