HOT SPRINGS — The Bryant White Lady Hornets eighth grade team of Bryant Middle School[more] struggled on offense and fell victim to a fourth-quarter comeback by the Hot Springs Lakeside Junior Lady Rams on Thursday, Jan. 24 Lakeside forged a 26-18 win after Bryant White had led going into the final period.
Lakeside held an 8-6 edge after a quarter but the Lady Hornets blanked the Lady Rams in the second period, producing a 12-8 halftime advantage. Bryant White led 16-14 at the end of the third quarter.
Destiny Martin led the Lady Hornets with 7 points. Deja Rayford added 4, Kennedy Harris 3, with Lauren Lessenberry and Hadley Dickson scoring 2 apiece.
The Lady Hornets will bring their season to a conclusion this Thursday, Jan. 31, when they host Lighthouse Charter School at the Bryant High School gym.
