At a special meeting on June 7, the Bryant School Board voted unanimously to appoint Ben Lewellen to serve the remainder of the term for Zone 4.
The remaining two-year term will be on the ballot in the Sept. 20, 2016 school board election. The position’s full term is scheduled to expire in September 2018.
Lewellen is a life-long resident of the Bryant community. He and his wife have three children enrolled in Bryant Schools.
