Miller promises to continue to serve with integrity, honesty

Brenda Miller has been involved in every aspect of City Council government in Bryant since being asked to take over a vacant spot of alderman of Ward 4 late last year.

Miller's efforts to improve flooding concerns and street overlays within her area are only a few of the accomplishments made during her short term as alderman so far. Now, since her official election to the Council came on Tuesday, there are more issues to tackle and more improvements to make in her ward.[more]

"I appreciate the opportunity to thank the citizens of Ward 4 for re-electing me to the Bryant City Council," Miller said. "I would also like to thank my family and friends for all the help they gave me with my campaign. It is a privilege and honor to serve the people of this community and it truly is ‘the people's choice’ for a place to raise a family in a safe environment with great schools."

Miller ran a positive campaign against her opponent Sam O'Bryant and she won the position with 604 votes to 385.

"I will continue to serve Ward 4 and the entire City with integrity and honesty," Miller said. "My assistance to our citizens will be given my utmost care and sincerity to work with everyone on the many concerns of a growing community.

Bryant has been a fast growing city for several years and will continue to be with good solid progressive responsible decision-making,” she concluded. “But I will miss the leadership Mayor (Larry) Mitchell has given this city to help make it one of the top 100 cities in America. Let's all continue working together to keep Bryant moving forward."
