Rob Roedel is well known in Bryant for his work on the City Planning Commission and the Bryant Athletic Association but, on Tuesday, Roedel took on a new challenge — his election to the Bryant City Council as Alderman of Ward 3, Position 2.[more]

"I am honored that the residents of Bryant’s Ward 3 placed a vote of confidence in me during the recent election," Roedel said. "My goal is to be an advocate for my neighbors while working to increase the quality of life for all residents of our growing city. I will continue to listen to my constituents and work hard to represent their best interest."

Roedel ran for the vacant position left open by current Alderman Ken Green. Roedel defeated Bobby Johnson in the race 441 to 390 in Tuesday's election.

"First of all, I would like to thank my friends and supporters for working so hard during the election and say congratulations to the winners of the other races," he said. "Lastly, I would like to thank my opponent for a great race. As the election cycle is complete, with the exception of the run-offs, we must now remember that we are all neighbors and share many of the same desires for our families. By working together, we can and will continue to make our city the envy of the state."
