The Salt Bowl, the annual football game between Saline County rivals, Bryant and Benton, is partnering with[more] the Red Cross and will be holding a competition between the schools.
On Tuesday, Aug 30, Benton Arena will be the site of the Panthers' blood drive and, on Wednesday, Aug. 31, the Hornets blood drive will be held in building 4 on the Bryant High School campus. Each drive begins at 8 a.m. and goes to 6:30 p.m.
The school with the most donors will recieve a trophy from the Red Cross at their first home game. There will also be a Mobile Blood unit at War Memorial Stadium the day of the game to take donations.
