MAGNOLIA — Southern Arkansas University has announced the awarding of scholarships for the 2016-2017 academic year.

Quinn McGehee of Avilla Christian Academy High School in Alexander has been selected to receive the Blue and Gold Scholarship from SAU. This scholarship includes $3300 per semester and has a four-year value of $26400. McGehee is the son of Linda McGehee and Edward McGehee.
Autumn Ross of Bryant High School in Alexander has been selected to receive the University Scholarship from SAU. This scholarship includes $4500 per semester and has a four-year value of $36000. Ross is the son of Nancy Moore.
Whitney Brown of Bryant High School in Alexander has been selected to receive the Achievement Scholarship from SAU. This scholarship includes $1000 per semester and has a four-year value of $8000. Brown is the daughter of Jeani Brown.
