WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? I was real creative so I kind of just played with everything.
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I’m going to play volleyball in college. I’m not sure where right now but it’s looking like UA-Fort Smith for Athletic Training.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT VOLLEYBALL: Hitting.
WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE COURT? I block for my team so we don’t have to play defense and I’m like a go-to hitter when we need to put the ball down.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? It started out a little rough but it’s going really good now. We all get along so I’m liking it.
WHEN THE TEAM’S PLAYING WELL, WHAT’S IT DOING? We play a lot better when we all get along on the court. You can tell, we just have fun and we play a lot better.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? I think being second in conference because we’ve never been up seeded as high.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? We’re going to have to continue to play together and continue to be friends and get along.
INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? I guess, hitting. Because it’s my favorite part that’s what I’m most confidant in as far as what I can do but I’m like a known blocker so I guess both of those things.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? I really want to get my vertical up even though it’s already kind of up there. I really want to get that up maybe two or three inches.
AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH PLAYING VOLLEYBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? I think playing with this group of girls. There’s something about it that’s been real special. I love them to death and I’m going to miss them a whole lot. So I just think when I look back I’m going to be like this was probably the best senior year I could ask for.
