WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME? Golf and bowl.

FAVORITE FOOD: Fried potatoes

FAVORITE MUSIC ARTIST OR GROUP: Def Leppard

FAVORITE MOVIE: The Longest Yard

FAVORITE TV SHOW: Street Outlaws

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? Probably a baseball.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? To go play baseball at Harding and major in Physical Therapy.

OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? My brother because he’s taught me most everything I’ve known about baseball. He’s four years older than me so he’s prepared me for what I’m going to experience in the future.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT BASEBALL: Winning

POSITION: Pitcher

WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH ON THE MOUND? Throw strikes and get as many outs as efficiently as I can.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? It’s been successful. We’re still progressing. I don’t think we’ve quite reached out peak yet. I think we can still get better every day.

WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? Beating Benton, run-ruling them at our place.

WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE WAY? Keep working hard in practice and just keep progressing. Don’t take a day off.

TALK ABOUT YOUR GAME: WHAT DO YOU FEEL MOST CONFIDENT IN YOUR ABILITY TO DO? Throw strikes and get people out. I don’t have a 90 mile per hour fastball but I can work every other pitch.

WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE ON IN PRACTICE? The feel of my pitches, throwing strikes, working low in the zone.

AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH PLAYING BASEBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? Playing with this group of seniors for four years and all the good times we’ve had in Florida and Texas.
