FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL: Human Anatomy

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME? I like to spend time with my family and friends. I love being outside fishing, camping, or hiking. I also love playing soccer in my spare time.

FAVORITE FOOD: Chinese food

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? My stuffed Elmo.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I plan to attend Arkansas State and become either a Veterinarian or a Pharmacist.

OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? My Grandma Elaine has always been one of my role models. She perseveres through an illness she has and makes it look easy.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT SOCCER: The team and the relationship I have with each girl. We all just click.

POSITION: Goalkeeper

WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE FIELD? Saving goals, communication and being a leader.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I feel like we have done really well. We just have to keep working hard to accomplish our biggest goal, which is becoming State champions.

WHEN THE TEAM’S PLAYING WELL, WHAT’S IT DOING? We are using passing and moving the ball around, creating opportunities to score.

WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I think the highlight of the season was winning the Fort Smith tournament for the third year in a row.

WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? It will take every player working to the best of their ability and the determination to be the best we can be as a team and as an individual player.

INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? I would say I’m really confident about PKs.

WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? Reading people and reacting to shots taken. I also have to work hard on high balls.

AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH PLAYING SOCCER AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? I’ll remember the feeling being on the team and knowing I have 20+ girls who would have my back no matter what. I’ll remember watching everyone play, the bus rides, getting food with the team, bonding with the guys team too, and meeting the freshman. I’ll also remember playing against the JV boys team and always laughing with them.
