Spring Queen Pageant winners announced

The first Spring Queen Pageant resulted in some happy, crowned winners and raised money for four scholarships for graduating Bryant High School seniors. The event was held Saturday April 25 at Love Auditorium at Bryant High.

Sidney Ballard, 7, daughter of Michael and Tracey Ballard of Wilmar, was crowned Ultimate Grand Supreme winner out of the field of 16 girls. She competed in the Petite Miss category. Ballard is in first grade at Monticello Elementary School.

Emilee Davis, 6, daughter of Ryan Davis and Jennifer Hopson of Gurdon, was crowned Little Miss Division Grand Supreme winner. She is in Kindergarten at Gurdon Primary School.

Hannah Rudnick, 8, daughter of Dave and Jessica Rudnick of Alexander, was crowned Petite Miss Division Grand Supreme winner. She is in the third grade at Springhill Elementary School.

Liana Grist, 11, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Monte Grist of Bryant, was crowned Pre-Teen Miss Division Grand Supreme winner. She is in the fifth grade at Paron Elementary.

Alli Mead, 13, daughter of Paul and Tonya Mead of Alexander, was crowned Teen Miss Division Grand Supreme winner. She is in the seventh grade at Bethel Middle School.

Rylin Futch, 6, daughter of Aubrey and Brandon Futch of Bauxite, captured the title of crowd favorite. She is in Kindergarten at Pine Haven Elementary. Her crown was donated by Bakers Fine Jewelry.

The event was sponsored by Landers Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep.

Organizers expressed gratitude to judges Alexis Landers, Miss Arkansas High School 2015; Tracy Neal, Miss Arkansas 2013 first runner up; and Sagan Shipe, Miss Central Arkansas 2010 and Miss Little Rock 2011 as well as emcee, Elicia Dover, reporter and fill-in anchor at KATV Channel 7 News and Miss Nebraska 2009 third runner up.

In addition, gratitude was extended to La Belle Vie in Bryant for donating gifts and Chick-fil-A of Bryant for donating snacks for the judges and emcee.
