BHS soccer teams open conference at Central tonight; girls coming off dominant performance against Benton

The Bryant High School soccer teams open 7A/6A-Central Conference play this evening at[more] Quigley Stadium against the always tough Little Rock Central teams. There will be a JV boys game at 4 p.m., followed by the varsity boys at 5:15 and the varsity girls match at 7.

The Lady Hornets come into the contest off a dominating performance against the rival Benton Lady Panthers earlier this week. In the 4-0 win, Benton was unable to even attempt a shot on goal while the Lady Hornets launched a barrage of 28 shots.

It was the sixth shutout of the season in 11 games for the Lady Hornets, now 7-4. 

The first two goals came back to back by Kaitlin Gaiser. The first was a solo effort. On the second, she was assisted by McKenzie Adams.Taylor Bryant knocked through the third goal. Madison Land capped the scoring finding the back of the net off a feed from Sarenity Gomez.
