The Bryant Blue Hornets seventh grade A and B teams of Bethel Middle School hosted a jamboree on[more] Saturday at Bryant Stadium. Each scrimmage including a 20-minute half.
In the A team’s first scrimmage, Parker Ray scored on a 44-yard run for the only score against Pine Bluff. The Hornets added a two-point conversion run by Parker Littleton to make it 8-0. Joseph Wyllia recovered a fumble for Bryant Blue.
The A team also won a scrimmage over Lakewood of North Little Rock 16-0. Littleton scored on a 5-yard run on an opening drive that ate up 12 minutes of the 20. Quarterback Cameron Vail kept for the 2-point conversion. Later, Vail snuck in from the 1 for the second touchdown and Littleton carried for the conversion.
In a B game, Conway prevailed 14-0. It was highlighted by Sarah Evans’ two pass receptions.
