Bryant White eighth grade team bounces back to dismiss Anthony School

Nine different players contributed to the scoring as the Bryant White Hornets eighth grade basetball team overwhelmed The Anthony School Panthers of Little Rock on Tuesday night.

The Bryant White team includes Logan Moore, Max Sullivan, Austin Montgomery, Robert Meeks, Steven Murdock, Madison Schrader, Connor Tatum, Blake Patterson, Brent Michael Barker, K.J. Hill, Kyron Smith, Bryce Bowen, Mar’kevius Nelson, Brett Fisher, Austin Masters, Hunter Oglesby, J.C. Newborn, Austin Fisher, Daniel Bradford, Blaine Hampton and Hunter Sherman.

Hill finished with 11 points. Newborn, Tatum and Masters each added 6.

“I was pleased with how well we[more] shared the basketball,” said Hornets coach Heath Long. “I thought that we might be a little tired after having a tough game (Monday) night, but the kids responded well.”

Bryant White suffered a tough loss to rival Bryant Blue, 38-24, on Monday night.
