CONWAY — Martavian Earl scored the touchdown and Gunnar Givens added the extra point then the defense of the Bryant White Hornets eighth grade team of Bryant Middle School did the rest as they downed the Conway White Wampus Cats, 7-0, on Thursday night.
“We played stout defense,” acknowledged Hornets coach Russell Wortham. “Conway White is a tough team.”
The win improved the Hornets to 3-1 on the season going into a game at Pine Bluff on Oct. 4.
