Bryant’s Stepp to assist on East team at AHSCA all-star softball games

NORTH LITTLE ROCK — Bryant Lady Hornets head softball coach Debbie Stepp, who led her team to the Class 7A State championship, has been named as an assistant at the 7th annual Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star softball game to be held Wednesday, June 23, at 5 p.m.

Stepp will assist head coach Jonathan Crymes of West Memphis on the East squad along with Cary Cossey of Buffalo Island Central and Brian Haynes of Trumann.[more]

Brian Butler of Greenbrier will head up the West squad staff with assistance from Paula Wheeler of Elkins, Brian Brown of Nashville and Kent Early of Bentonville.

The All-Star doubleheader will be played at Bogle Park at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville as part of the 2010 Arkansas High School Coaches Association Coaches Clinic to be held at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Fayetteville, June 23-25.

All-Star team members are to be announced later in the week.
