CABOT — Chris Harris shot a 39, just three strokes off the pace of individual medalists Brian Belez of Hot Springs Lakeside and Hunter Smith of Cabot, in a four-team match over nine holes on Tuesday, Aug. 31.
Led by those medalists, Cabot (158) and Lakeside (161) finished 1-2 among the boys teams. Bryant was third at 165 and Central Arkansas Christian was fourth at 183.
In girls action, Sam Patrico of Lakeside led her team to a low score of 142. Cabot’s Lady Panthers finished at 167 and Bryant at 169.[more]
Morgan Morehead was the Lady Hornets’ low score with 53. Savanna Cathey carded a 58, as did Carley Miller to complete the scoring trio. In addition, Kyanne Lawrence shot a 60 and Caitlin Lawson turned in a round of 67.
To go with Harris, Tyler Green finished at 40 with Austin Harmon at 41 and Chase Thornton at 45 among the scoring group. Brandon Crosby carded a round of 49.
