MATTHEWS, N.C. — Woodrow Wilson High School of Washington, D.C., ousted the Bryant Hornets in the quarterfinals of bracket play today at the Powerade 7-on-7 Classic.
After going 6-1 in pool play, the Hornets advanced in their bracket with a 33-9 win over Bluefield, W.V., then Woodrow Wilson, 21-15 and Forsyth Central of Cumming, Ga., 22-2, before running into the other Woodrow Wilson team and losing 30-8.
Wilson went on to the finals before losing to Phoebus High School of Hampton, Va.
