Daniel Grayson
Daniel Grayson, 25, has been taken into custody by Bryant Police and charged with Battery in the First Degree. He was given a $50,000 bond.
On Friday Feb. 21, the Bryant Police Department received a call from Jessica Beggs who had her 2-year-old child at the Saline Memorial Hospital due to numerous significant injuries the child sustained from Grayson, her boyfriend.
Beggs told police that while she was in Little Rock, she left her son with Grayson to watch at her apartment. Beggs said that while she was away, she received a text message from Grayson saying that her son had fallen off a scooter and hit the coffee table. When she got home and saw the extent of the injuries, she immediately took him to the Saline Memorial Emergency Room and the Police were notified.
After investigators questioned Grayson about the injuries, he admitted to causing the injuries to the child.
