SIBLINGS: I have one step-sister, Kalea Carter. She’s 15.

FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL: Science

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME? Hang out with my friends, hang out with my girlfriend.

FAVORITE FOOD: Pizza

FAVORITE MUSIC ARTIST OR GROUP: Rap

FAVORITE MOVIE: I don’t really have a favorite movie.

FAVORITE TV SHOW: Sportscenter

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? A whiffle ball.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? Continue my baseball career and go to school. I’m undecided about where. I want to study Sports Medicine or Athletic Training.

OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? Probably my coaches and my friends; just keeping me entertained and having the same values in life.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT BASEBALL: Just being on the diamond with my boys, just playing the game, being with my friends and learning new ways to prepare myself to be at the next level.

POSITION: Centerfield and pitcher

WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH AT THE PLATE? Just focus on the ball and drive it hard somewhere.

WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH ON THE MOUND? Keep the ball low in the zone and get as many outs as I can.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I think it’s been really good. We struggled in the beginning but once we got to Florida, we kind of turned it over and started hitting the ball well and our pitching’s been doing an outstanding job.

WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? Going 9-0 in Florida and beating Benton, all of the wins we’ve had really.

WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? Just play as a team, work hard, keep focused up and just keep doing our thing.

TALK ABOUT YOUR GAME: WHAT DO YOU FEEL MOST CONFIDENT IN YOUR ABILITY TO DO? I feel most confident in the outfield.

WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE ON IN PRACTICE? I mainly work hardest on hitting. I kind of struggle more on hitting than I do in the field.

AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH PLAYING BASEBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? The fun we’ve had in practice and games, being with most of my close friends that we’ve grown up together with.
