FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL: Math

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME? I just like to stay at home and relax.

FAVORITE FOOD: Spaghetti

FAVORITE MUSIC ARTIST OR GROUP: Either country or alternative

FAVORITE MOVIE: I Am Legend

FAVORITE TV SHOW: I don’t watch TV as often as I used to; CSIs.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? I had this Elmo doll and I would sleep with it.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? Go to University of Ozarks and study sports medicine.

OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? Danny Muhlenberg; he’s my softball coach. He’s made me realize there’s more to life than just softball; that softball came go for much more than college. It can give you discipline and all that.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT SOFTBALL: Being with the girls; I love getting to know them and having the team bonding stuff afterward. I love that.

POSITION: First base

WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH AT THE PLATE? I just tell myself to make sure and make solid contact, just a base hit.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I think it’s going good. We’ve done so much better than last year and just overcoming the adversity from last year, that 13-13 season. Just being us and having fun.

WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? At the beginning our defense wasn’t the best but now the defense has now really come together. We’ve just got to get our hitting now.

WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE WAY? Focus and make sure that we have eyes set to get to State and the hitting, and making sure that we do everything we need to do at practice.

TALK ABOUT YOUR GAME. WHAT ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT IN YOUR ABILITY TO DO? Probably, playing first base. I’ve stretched but I don’t know how far I can stretch. And being able to calm myself if I make a mistake.

WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST IN PRACTICE TO IMPROVE ON? My hitting; I always feel like I could be better at my hitting.

AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH PLAYING SOFTBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? The girls will always be my best friends and I’m lucky to be able to get to know them and play with them.
