FAVORITE MUSIC ARTIST OR GROUP: J.Cole

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? I really wasn’t into toys like that. My favorite game system was the Playstation I when it came out.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? Go to Henderson and get a degree in Nursing or go to SAU and get a degree in game design.

OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO’S HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? HOW? My younger brother, Brushawn. He’s like the greatest inspiration ever — his charisma, just everything about him. He makes me want to be a better person.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT TRACK? The bond we have, the unity. We’re not really even a track team. We’re more of a family.

EVENTS? Sometimes I do the long jump, triple jump, 4×100, sometimes the 100 and 200. It depends on coach’s decision.

WHAT APPROACH DO YOU TAKE TO YOUR EVENTS? Just do the best that I can, try to get some points for the team.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I honestly think the season’s probably one of the best we’ve had in a while. I was here ninth grade year and my 11th grade year. We’re doing pretty good. We lost one track meet, came in second and that’s because we didn’t have some of our key players. I’m pretty sure we’re going to pull through.

WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SEASON SO FAR? It hasn’t come yet.

WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT CONFERENCE AND STATE? Stay focused; sleep, eat right, just do what we have to do.

TALK ABOUT YOUR EVENT NOW; WHAT DO YOU THINK IS YOUR BIGGEST ASSET? Probably my mom and my little brother.

WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST IN PRACTICE TO IMPROVE ON? To actually finish the whole practice and not get hurt.

WHEN YOU’RE THROUGH RUNNING TRACK AT BRYANT HIGH SCHOOL, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL LOOK BACK AND REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE? The love that we have here. It’s just inner peace, when you come to the track program. Everybody’s just so into each other. We just really have a strong bond. We’re a family.
