NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The Bryant High School varsity basketball teams return to action for the first time since Nov. 24 when they open play in the annual OrthoArkansas/Central Arkansas Christian basketball tournament tonight on Mustang Mountain.
The Bryant teams will take on their respective counterparts from the host school. The Lady Hornets play CAC’s Lady Mustangs at 7 p.m., with the Hornets and Mustangs dueling at 8:30 p.m.
The tourney continues on Friday with games between Bryant and Maumelle. The girls play at 4 p.m., the boys at 5:30. On Saturday, the Lady Hornets tangle with the Camden Fairview Lady Cardinals at 2 p.m., and the Hornets meet 7A/6A-Central Conference rival Little Rock Catholic at 3:30.
Both Bryant teams are seeking their first win, respectively, after losses at home to Benton on Nov. 13 and losses at Rogers Heritage on the Nov. 24.
